HOW WE HELP

Communications & Campaigns

Reach your community with purpose.

How can a communications campaign support a nonprofit?

A nonprofit communications campaign connects a specific audience to a clear action, such as learning about a program, applying to volunteer, registering for an event, or responding to an appeal. We bring the message, creative, landing page, channels, and measurement together.

People need a reason and a clear way to respond.

A program can be valuable and still struggle to reach the people who would benefit from it. Your team may be sending emails, sharing updates, and working with community partners, while each channel tells a slightly different story or leads to a page that leaves the next step unclear. More promotion adds work without resolving that gap.

We start with the action the campaign needs to support and the audience who can take it. That gives the message, creative, landing page, and follow-up a shared purpose, whether you are recruiting volunteers, introducing a service, or supporting an approved appeal.

Build the campaign around the whole journey.

We review the audience, the questions people need answered, the materials already available, and the capacity your team has to respond. From there, we develop the agreed copy and creative, connect the channels to a focused destination, and define what will be measured. Email, Google Ads, and Meta Ads can be included where they fit the audience and scope.

Your team approves the materials and retains ownership of its accounts. Media is paid directly to the platforms, with the budget and reporting expectations agreed before launch. For fundraising communications, we work from your development team's approved strategy and claims.

ILLUSTRATIVE NONPROFIT SCENARIO

A volunteer campaign with a clearer path.

Imagine a community meal program that needs Saturday delivery volunteers. Its current outreach links to a general involvement page, where visitors have to find the role among several opportunities. A focused campaign could explain the time commitment, delivery area, training, and application process on one page, with email and partner materials carrying the same message.

The application would go to an agreed coordinator with a confirmation for the applicant. The review would look at completed applications and the follow-up status, giving the organization a way to see whether the difficulty is reach, missing information, or an internal handoff.

Know what the campaign is helping people do.

The intended outcome is a connected campaign your team can deliver and evaluate. We agree the action and measures during scoping, then use the response to decide what needs to change. Applications, registrations, and appropriate inquiries provide a more useful basis for that conversation than traffic alone.

Questions nonprofit teams ask

Can you develop both the campaign and the landing page?

Yes. Messaging, creative, email, landing pages, and agreed tracking can be scoped together. We also review who receives responses so the campaign connects to a usable follow-up process.

Do you manage Google Ads and Meta Ads?

Both can be included when they fit the audience and agreed scope. You own the advertising accounts, approve campaign materials, and pay the platforms directly. Media budgets are agreed separately from the project fee.

Can you support a fundraising campaign?

We can develop communications and digital journeys around your development team's approved fundraising strategy. Grant writing, major-gift strategy, and fundraising management remain outside this service.

How are fees and timing agreed?

A free discovery call and no-charge assessment help define the work. We agree deliverables, responsibilities, fees, and timing before the engagement starts. The number of audiences, content needs, integrations, and review steps can affect the scope.

Do you work with nonprofits outside the Hudson Valley?

Yes. Sync Strategic is based in Orange County, NY and serves the Hudson Valley, NYC, and beyond. Remote collaboration is available for organizations outside the region.
